Spectacularly more biodiversity in the countryside, fairly produced regional food and a healthy businesscase for farmers by 2030. That, in a nutshell, is the ambition of ‘Rotterdam on the Farm’.
A unique and unorthodox coalition has the dream of bringing about a major revolution in the Rotterdam countryside and in the city. Farmers, the hospitality industry, retailers, financial institutions, nature organisations, knowledge institutes and entrepreneurs are joining forces to restore our biodiversity in the countryside and to strengthen the bond with the city. Among them are Rechtstreex, Rotterdamse Oogst, Greenchoice, Herenboeren Nederland, Picnic, Rabobank, FrieslandCampina, Staatsbosbeheer, Stichting DOEN and Zuid-Hollands Landschap. With Natuurmonumenten as the driving force.
To realise this ambition, the partners are starting a real movement among farmers, consumers and in the city. We help to optimally position this ambitious project, its partners and its projects to significantly increase the chances of success and continuity.
